Waitlist Policy

Our recreational program is filling up quickly! To ensure every player has a positive experience with appropriate roster sizes, registrations received after a division reaches capacity will be placed on a waitlist.

Our goal is always to create more opportunities to play. If enough players register and additional volunteer coaches step forward, we'll open new teams and assign players from the waitlist based on registration order.
If we're unable to form another team in your player's division, your registration fee will be fully refunded.

Thank you for your patience and support as we work to provide the best experience possible for every player.

Coaches are the real heroes of SFSA. When you volunteer your time, more kids have the opportunity to find their sport. All coaches get free registration for their kid(s) as well as coaches gear kit and the comfort of knowing they will be supported the entire season by other SFSA board members, coaches and volunteers.

Join the SFSA volunteer team & lets make a difference together!

PARENT AND PLAYER CODE OF CONDUCT

All parents associated with the SFSA are invited to share in the pleasure of watching their children participate in the world’s most popular sport, so long as their behavior does not distract the players, coaches, or officials from the free flow of play during practices or games. We pride ourselves on having respectful and engaged families, and we ask that parents and guardians continue to adhere to these guidelines.

A player, parent or guardian, or guest must:

  • Never use foul language or obscene gestures during a game or practice nor while on site.

  • Avoid comments and gestures that express disagreement with coaching or referee decisions during practices or games.

  • Never enter the playing surface or player sideline without the consent of the coaches or referees.

  • Cooperate with any request by the coaches or game officials.

  • Never consume alcoholic beverages on the field location at practices or games.

  • Never smoke or vape on the field location at practices or games.

A parent or guardian understands that:

  • Any player, parent, or guest who fails to adhere to these standards will be required to leave the playing area, and play will be suspended until he or she does so.

  • The associated player may be obligated to serve the penalty as the result of misconduct by those associated with that player.

  • At the sole discretion of SFSA, misconduct by a player or player's guardian(s) or guest(s) may result in the individuals suspension from attending practice(s) and/or game(s).

  • At the sole discretion of SFSA, misconduct by a player or player's guardian or guest, especially if a habitual offense, may result in the player being dismissed from his/her team for the remainder of the season with no refunds of player fees in such cases.

  • Parents or guardians are responsible for their guests’ behavior and must inform their guests of the applicable rules of conduct.

  • Any breaches of this Code of Conduct can result in your child’s suspension and a member’s removal from SFSA soccer without refund of participation fees.

I, THE PARENT/GUARDIAN OF THE ABOVE NAMED CHILD, GIVE MY PERMISSION FOR HE/SHE TO PARTICIPATE IN SANTA FE SOCCER ALLIANCE (SFSA). I AGREE NOT TO HOLD THE SFSA OR ITS REPRESENTATIVES RESPONSIBLE FOR INJURIES OR ACCIDENTS IN CONNECTION WITH THIS ACTIVITY AND AUTHORIZE FIRST AID AND MEDICAL TREATMENT IF NECESSARY. I ALSO GRANT SFSA PERMISSION TO OBTAIN MEDICAL CARE IF INJURY OR INCIDENT OCCURS WHEN NEITHER PARENT/GUARDIAN IS AVAILABLE TO GIVE PERMISSION. BY REGISTERING I AGREE HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE ABOVE “PARENT CODE OF CONDUCT”, REFUND POLICY AND AGREE TO ADHERE TO ALL GUIDELINES.
